Re: [Rhythmbox-devel] Plugin writing in C

You probably then should try #gtk or #rhythmbox on IRC (irc.gnome.org)

IMHO, you should learn how to write a plugin in python and, through this, understand the way gtk works, and then I guess you'll be better prepared to write a C plugin, and then write some doc on how to write a plugin in C.

The reason nobody helped you yet is not because nobody cares, but because nobody can (lack of knowledge, lack of time) and keeping asking won't help.

Please, could someone just answer that he is considering this?

When I switched from windows to Linux two years ago I thought that
someday I'll stop writing only winapi apps and I'll do something
valuable for others.
When I finally decided to do it, I see only a wall of silence.
How do you expect people writing plugins in GTK when there is nowhere
any good, simple examples and documentation. People are writing more
and more  apps in Java and Python and Gnome is getting slower and
fatter.

I need only a half of hour attention.

Please consider this.
