Hi,
I took some time to refresh the code posted on that bug, but did not
updated it yet.
Beside some easy code clean up, there are some annoying problems:
- the playback backends are partially broken w.r.t to adding/removing
filters [1]
- LADSPA filters works badly (hey, they are in gstreamer-bad after
all!) [2], so we can only rely on the equalizer-nband filter (which
fortunately is going to move to -good).
Fixing the backends should not be too hard (xfade seems nearly correct
and its implementation could be ported to non-xfade). When this is
done and equalizer-nband is in good, a working plugin could be
shipped.
cheers,
Christophe
