As I understand it, faad 2.5 is ABI incompatible with 2.0, which causes
this:

.. because the faad plugin is present in the gstreamer registry, but
can't be loaded due to missing symbols.
I haven't looked at this particular mess too closely, but maybe you can
rebuild gst-plugins-bad against faad 2.5.
