Should the build process work when run multi threaded?
I recall seeing a similar issue with 0.9.5 but as it happened again with
0.9.6 this time I decided to mention it.
I'm running 64bit Ubuntu 6.06.01 Dapper Drake on a dual core Athlon.
(1) unpack the archive, and change to its directory
(2) ./configure
(3) make -j 2
...
make[3]: *** No rule to make target `../metadata/librbmetadatasvc.la',
needed by `rhythmbox-metadata'. Stop.
make[3]: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs....
...
If I re-run "make -j 2" it fails at the same point. Then running a
single threaded "make" seems to work.
