thank you so much for this. it was a big help. i really only encounter one little bug/problem thus far in terms of packaging. one other question:

how would i (or rather, in what file would i) change the package name? i would like to make it rhythmbox-cvs or something similar, so that it does not directly conflict with rhythmbox/ubuntu-desktop.
