[Rhythmbox-devel] internet "radio" streaming broken

hi list,
is there any progress in resolving the streaming-issue in rhythmbox? i
like this app since it since it seems the most stable of the available
"itunes"-like players, but since streaming doesn't work it's a real show
stopper. i already filled a bug
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=382930, but since then it even
get worse. now also mp3 (shoutcast) don't work.
does anyone else does have this problem?
i'm running on latest version on gentoo:
rhythmbox 0.9.6
gstreamer 0.10.11
gst-plugins-ogg 0.10.11
gst-plugins-ffmpeg 0.10.2

i guess it have something to do with buffer settings in gstreamer. is
there a way to change these settings?
streams work fine with audacious and mplayer on the same machine.
