GTK allows for buttons > in treewidgets, I believe. Currently it doesn't remember where you were up to, but that shouldn't be too hard to add. I haven't used podcasts in iTunes, so I can't really compare them. One issue that I've just noticed is that downloading podcasts manually (when they weren't automatically) requires using the context menu.
