[Rhythmbox-devel] Rhythmbox and esd

Hi,

I'm running Gnome 2.4 with Rhythmbox 0.6.8. I have gnome sounds enabled
and have set the output of gstreamer to esd. If I build a test pipeline
with gstreamer sound is working fine. However with Rhythmbox I get an
error dialog that Rhythmbox currently does not support esd if gnome sounds
is enabled.

My question is why is this?
