[Rhythmbox-devel] can only run as root

Hi,

I really like the Rhythbox application, it's exactly what I'm looking
for. Just one major problem, if I run it as anything but root, I get a
seg fault. Here's the output:

          (/var/cache/gstreamer-0.6/registry.xml)

And that's it. I've tried 
chmod 666 /var/cache/gstreamer-0.6/registery.xml 

and also tried to change ownership to a specified user, but still no
go. Someone suggessted changing owership of ~/.rhythmbox, but I have
no file by that name anywhere in my home directory.

Any ideas?
