I was using rhythmbox successfully until I decided to delete my library
and reimport the music to make sure I hadn't missed any songs. RB froze
up when I did this. I have been using CVS and this program has
continued for about a week now.
RB begins importing songs and must get to a particular one that it
doesn't like.
Here is the terminal output:
(rhythmbox:5682): Rhythmbox-CRITICAL **: file rb-playlist.c: line 1153
(rb_playlist_parse_recurse): assertion `uri != NULL' failed
ERROR asfdemux( 5687) gstasfdemux.c(968):

*** repeated many many times with various numbers in parentheses ***

src but peer is not active
(rhythmbox:5687): GStreamer-WARNING **: push on peer of pad sink_ident:

attaching gdb to the main process i get:
0x40b8c688 in poll () from /lib/libc.so.6
(gdb) bt
#0 0x40b8c688 in poll () from /lib/libc.so.6

#2 0x40a74111 in g_main_context_iterate (context=0x80d7390, block=1,

#4 0x406ef86a in bonobo_main () at bonobo-main.c:297
#5 0x0805eda7 in main ()
Is there any more information I can get to help. I suspect it's a
crummy mp3 causing this but I don't see any output to help figure out
which one.
