I see that RB is based on both Xine and Gstreamer framework. I've already configured Xine to support WMA files (I've been using it to play them), though I'm not sure about Gstreamer. My question is; does RB support WMAs? Is there some plugin or config file I need to setup for this to work? I've been searching the web for a few hours, and I can't find any information beyond the Xine codecs.

Instead of trying to adapt Rhythmbox to that situation, why don't you
take advantage of the fact that you have a choice in what you buy--and
which manufacturers you support--and seriously consider taking your
business to a company that actually supports Ogg Vorbis and not
Microsoft? WMA is never "by far" the better option to me, even if it
means storing 20% less music (I'm making this up--I imagine it's even
lower--don't listen to their marketing hype). Anyways, check out the
Rio Karma, it's on the top of my wishlist. :) iRiver looks nice too, if
you can afford it.
