[Rhythmbox-devel] Rhythmbox and iPod integration

I know Rhythmbox was already inspired by the famous iTunes. iTunes also
provides an interface with an Apple iPod. Has any discussion been given
to incorporating gtkpod (http://gtkpod.sf.net) or gnupod
(http://www.gnu.org/software/gnupod) into Rhythmbox somehow? Or at least
under a special build option?

I would definitely appreciate such a feature and might be able to donate
some time and testing with it.
