Thanks, those ideas sound great. I have one other question: how is
deprecation usually dealt with in GNOME Bugzilla? Someone filed a bug
against my app today, but they chose gnome-media as the component in
Bugzilla. I'll subscribe to gnome-media so I can keep an eye out for
bugs people file against it that are actually my bugs, but is there
anything else I should request?
The "gnome-media" product in Bugzilla is not "Closed for bug entry",
there are 73 open tickets, and its classification is "Applications"
instead of "Deprecated".
The maintainers listed in Bugzilla are:
* Bastien Nocera
* Marc-Andre Lureau
* Ronald Bultje
* Thomas Vander Stichele
@release-team: Shall I close, mass-close, and move?
I'd say yes, we are not building gnome-media as part of the releases for ages
Cheers,
