Hi,

Worth to mention that this is about Evolution. :)

Dropping gnome-doc-list@ as this specific case is not covered by the
user docs.

Thank you for a prompt reply.

I would like to ask to add these strings:

"Unable to retrieve saved component from the memo list, returned error

"Unable to retrieve saved component from the calendar, returned error
was: %s"
"Unable to retrieve saved component from the task list"
"Unable to retrieve saved component from the memo list"
"Unable to retrieve saved component from the calendar"
"Unable to retrieve saved component from the task list"
"Unable to retrieve saved component from the memo list"
"Unable to retrieve saved component from the calendar"

Who tries to "retrieve" here, and what is a "component" in this context?

Evolution tries to "retrieve" the event/memo/task (and it is what we call "componenet").
What do you suggest? Change component for the specific name (event/memo/task) is okay for you?

And if it's already saved why do you need to retrieve it again?

Quoting the comments done in the patch:
"A server can modify the event on save. Considering this, it is needed to fetch the updated
version of the event from server, updating the component, then user can keep editing the
 event"

(Well, in other words: Could such error messages somehow be made less
cryptic and more understandable for average users?)

Please, suggestions are welcome

Best Regards,
