Makes sense.

I guess add this to
#1 "you have to use fallback; hardware no good" dialog
#2 "system settings - force fallback"
#3 I hope that apps needing acceleration give a popup when lacking the
required stuff (this possible?)?

Think still best to just raise it with the right people and let them
figure it out after giving suggestions.
