Thanks for pointing this out.

For the record (as I didn't find them immediately, there are tarballs
at <http://hal.freedesktop.org/releases/>).

I am fine with it, but as DeviceKit requires libudev >= 130 (released
on 07-Oct-2008), I am in favour of keeping it optional (just like it
is at the moment) so GNOME can be built and used on older systems (as
udev is not something that can be installed in a jhbuild prefix).

Also I'd like this http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=565867 to
be fixed.
