Easier schedule URL?

Is there any chance that we could use, for instance,
http://live.gnome.org/2.21
instead of, for instance,
http://live.gnome.org/TwoPointTwentyOne
for the next release cycle? The URLs for the last cycle have always been
annoying to type. A "." doesn't seem to be a problem for the wiki.
