I've just had a play with it and although having this feature is cool
the UI definitely needs some love and i'd feel much much happier if it
wasn't exposed yet.

The docs haven't yet been updated to reflect this new feature anyway.

I'm going to stick my neck out on the line here and volunteer to tackle
the UI issues for post 2.20.
