Sorry, I did mix them up. But now that you bring it up...
GNOME needs a good sound/multimedia API at the platform level. We
should of course try to make GStreamer be that API.
What's missing for that to happen? Easy helper APIs like
just_play_a_goddamn_sound("bleep.ogg"), or something?
