I'm not seeing what that has to do with this button wording, except
maybe to support Rodney's change.  I think what Rodney identified is
that users associate "cancel" with the word "close", which wasn't
intended (and, after Rodney pointed it out, I remember thinking the
same thing the first time I used it).  "finish" doesn't mean "finish
an update operation" (which users are unlikely to assume since they'll
see things change automatically multiple times as they use the dialog)
but rather "finish testing out different backgrounds" (i.e. dismiss
the dialog and keep the last one selected).
