Hi all,
I think the introspection stack including pygi are in a good state now
to get more wide testing, and for that, being packaged in distros will
help a lot.
An issue has been getting pygobject built with --enable-pygi. There's
a bug present still in pygobject's HEAD that produces random errors
when running pygtk apps without having pygi installed:
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=619376
The patch in that ticket is correct to the best of my knowledge, I
will be trying to get a maintainer to review it and make a new
release, will appreciate any help there.
Fedora is already building pygobject with that patch and --enable-pygi.
Anybody is aware of any other roadblocks in packaging PyGI?
Cheers,
Tomeu
