Hi,
I'm new to Gnome Planner. Everything's great so far, but I have a couple of questions.
1. I'd like to make it so that when I insert a new task the default Schedule is "On fixed date" (and have the default date be "Today") rather than "As soon as possible". Is there a way to do this?
2. Is there a way to make the entries in the "% Complete" column automatic, for tasks that have subtasks? This should take duration of subtasks into account.
For example, suppose my tasks were:
Project 6d
A 1d
B 2d
C 3d
and suppose tasks A, B, and C were, respectively, 100%, 40%, and 50% complete. Then the whole Project task should be
( 1.00 * 1d + 0.40 * 2d + 0.50 * 3d ) / 6d * 100 % = 3.3d / 6d * 100 % = 55 % complete.
It would be nice if this were computed automatically. Is this feature present, and if so how do I activate it?
Thanks. :)
