That's correct, although I see a problem when it comes to zooming. One would
need independent zooming for the x-axis (length of period to be shown) and
y-axis (basically the font size of the printout).
I still think that if one could define a project milestone that somehow says
"nothing will ever happen after this day", that would be useful information to
have for the program internally to come up with some sensible defaults for layouts.

Zooming in doesn't seem to help with html export. I would have expected to see a
"end date of project" in the project properties dialog, but it only let's me

We should have an export dialog that a.o. allows you to select the zoom
level. I'm assuming a zoom level would solve your problem as well, is
that correct?
