Understandable... I just didn't really think it was _that_ distro
specific. While I did solve the problem specifically for gentoo, there's
always the possibility that others may want to compile in a similar type
sandbox... like I said, the only real changes were to the configure
script to allow a difference between the installation directory for the
plugins and their real destination. It really just makes things more
flexible for _any_ packaging system, so I think it would be better in
the actual configuration script rather than everybody being forced to
work around it on their own. And everything defaults to the current
behavior, so anyone not using these options would be completely
unaffected. But it's not that important, so if I failed to convince you,
then that's the end of it:)
