It could be a nice idea, but I'm not sure exactly how it would be done
in a good way. Do you mean that always when editing the name of a
resource, it would complete to names in the address book, or only when
filling in a completely empty row (a new one)?

The resource fields that seem to map to evo are:
[planner]                              [e-d-s]
name                                   Full Name
short name                          Nick Name
Email                                    Primary Email

In an otherwise empty row it would make sense to complete on any of these.

I start typing the name field
planner auto completes
I hit tab to move to short name the entire cell is selected so I can overide it by typing
I'm happy with the e-d-s nickname as planner short name, so I tab to "Type"
edit Type
Edit Group
In the email field e-d-s autocompleted the contacts primary email, since I want to use their "Work Email" I
start typing over the selected content of the email field, now it autocompletes on just the known email
(I think e-d-s stores up to 4) for this contact.  This would work in old resources too.

A further down the road thought:
For a contact who didn't map to e-d-s it might be good to include an "Add New Contacts to Address Book" action.  I frequently use planner to set up projects where my group is all known and in my addressbook but the client may participate and they may have other vendors participating, it would be nice to add them to the planner file then have an easy way to add them to the addressbook.

Cool side effect of e-d-s integration and resource storage, planner gets LDAP access for "free" since the addressbook can be on the server.
