Hi,

Good news is that I have almost working version of native win32 planner.

That's nice to hear! Is gnome-print still one of the missing pieces?

Yes, and might be for a while. On the otherhand it _might_ even work.. =)

Bad news is that it hangs up somewhere and debugging is PITA since cygwin GDB doesn't work well.

Is it still very complicated to build? If more people could try it, someone might be able to help out.

Well yes and no. Most of libs are precompiled already, so only thing is put up them in proper dir. Some gnome libs need to be compiled but I recall that they compiled out of box with proper params.

Only thing is to setup compilation environment. I hope that mingw/msys could be used since it would reduce PITA handling those cygwin oddities. Only reason I use cygwin is that there isn't working XML::Parser perl package for ages old Perl. That was "only" problem at the moment. Hopefully things have improved since.

Do you have any pending patches that should go in planner cvs, like the changes to use shared helper libraries etc? Just let me know and I'll try to take a look.

Not at the moment. Eventually there will be some. I haven't even checked out CVS changes lately.
