I have just compiled cpio 2.12 and borrowed dracut 041 from fedora 23
on this my centos7 based system and yes, this issue was solved with
--reproducible on dracut :-) I believe those packages should be
backported to centos7 in order to allow efficient network usage for
the users of atomic-cloud.

It's nice to know recent versions of cpio already support this
feature. It's quite fresh :-)

I'm now trying to run them on my centos 7 based environment, but I'm
sure it won't be that hard :-)
