So you'll run into a few other things...this weekend was probably not
the time to try, since I took down the build server this weekend and
started rebuilding it for 3.8.  I was also redoing the build system at
the same time, so the repository was temporarily unavailable.

The current state should have the 3.6 builds available again.  The only
caveat is that the repository is now in "archive-z2" which is a format
only bleeding edge OSTree versions (that have
http://git.gnome.org/browse/ostree/commit/?id=0d04738801a066a96cd8c5bd0c3bb5becabc4032 ) will understand.

But basically if you do build ostree from git, you should be able to
download the 3.6 builds (that won't change), and the build server will
be cranking away at 3.8.
