Re: [orca-list] Writing an accessible GUI app in python

Hi,

WX works in any environment such as Linux, Windows, etc. Unfortunately, Orca
has problems with treeviews and lists. If this is only a Linux app, then GTK
is your best option. As far as I know, Orca doesn't have any problems with
any of the controls. There is an accessible drag/drop user interface that
you can use. Just install glade with your package manager to get it. I am
still trying to figure out some parts of it, but going fairly well at the
minute. If you want to try WX, it has a similar tool called wx-glade. If you
want to try it out, search for its repository on github.com. It works
wonders in Windows, but don't know of its status in Linux.

Subject: [orca-list] Writing an accessible GUI app in python

Can anybody steer me toward a python module that would allow me to write a
GUI app that works well with Orca? I've been fiddling around with PyQt5. Is
that the best we have?
