If you just need part of a line, like a file name, you can use the
numpad keys to move the cursor over the string and press the slash key
twice quickly to select the text. Then it depends on which terminal
emulator you use but most of them use Control+shift+c to copy the
selected text to the clipboard. You can also copy an entire line to the
clipboard by pressing the slash key 3 times quickly to select the entire
line and then pressing control+shift+c to copy the selected text to the
clipboard.

Good afternoon, list
Wayback when linux only had a CLI, Speakup was able to mark, copy and
paste text from the terminal output. Now that I'm back on Linux for
good, I find myself using the terminal for everything (almost
everything), but is it possible to capture output from commands in the
terminal? I'm using the gnome terminal if it makes a difference. I
checked the manual, but I couldn't find any reference to this
functionality. I would love to keep using the terminal so any help
would be appreciated, please.
