Ah, I also have this problem when I close the Brave browser. Thought it 
is releated to this application only, because with other programs I did 
not have it.

So when I close the Brave browser and orca stops speaking, my workaround 
to enable speech again is to click somewhere on the screen with the 
touchpad of my laptop. That normaly solves the issue...
