I read on this list that it is possibly to set up BRLTTY to run in
graphical terminals instead of Orca. Could please someone provide me
with necessary steps to achieve this?
There's a script called 90xbrlapi, which should be generated when BRLTTY
is built.
This needs to be installed into /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc.d
You also need to be running an X server. So far as I know, the AT-SPI
support in BRLTTY doesn't work under Wayland yet.
BRLTTY should take control of the display when you are in a terminal,
and the same braille commands should be available as in the console;
Orca should control the display elsewhere in the desktop environment and
applications.
