Re: [orca-list] How to make orca less verbose?

Hello,

Check out the Orca speech settings, where you will find controls for whether Orca speaks the full row of tables for GUI, documents, etc.

Hi,

yesterday I've updated orca to version 42.3-1 on my Debian Bullseye
system. Since then orca is more chatty in some situation. For example in
HTML tables now the row and column is spoken which was not the case
before. I've found no way to turn that off.

How can I get the old behaviour back? Did I miss some settings I need to
change to get less verbosity?

Cheers and thanks for any help,
