Hi,

Maybe it will help to set in Orca Preferences > Speech tab > 
Comprehensive speech to short. Because I do not use English I don't know 
the right word for this option. Anyway if it is set to 'short' you will 
only hear 'column title' if you enter a table. When navigating to the 
next cell in a table with Alt+Shift+Arrow-Right you will hear the text 
and then row number and column number.
