Thanks Joanie,
At least I now know that it's not my
configuration at fault.
Didier, thanks.Confirmed. It's Orca 41.1 with LibreOffice 6.4.

Hi Ishe,
incidentally you should have Orca 41.1 in Slint.
Here "orca -v" gives: 41.1
Maybe you need to type as root:
slapt-get -u
slapt-get --upgrade
or is there something preventing you to do that?
Cheers,
Didier

Hi List,
Seems this is a problem that I am encountering on both Slint
and Arch:
When I try to do a continuous reading while in a Libreoffice
document,
Orca reads two or three lines then skips a number of pages and
places me
far from my current position.
Versions:
Slint: Orca 40, LibreOffice 6.4
Archlinux: Orca 41.1, LibreOffice 7.2.5.2.0 20(Build:2)
TIa,
