[orca-list] Stuttering speech in progressbars

Hey hey,
I have noticed that before, whenever a program displays a progressbar of some 
kind, the speech output is severely broken up.

At least running Jamulus (live audio jamming over the internet) it also 
affected the audio of the program, until I managed to leave the window and 
thus permanently move the focus from the progressbar.

I am currently running Orca 40.0 (ArchLinux package) on a Mate desktop 1.26, 
gtk version 3.24.30 .

The PulseAudio output is routed through JACK (Jack Audio Connection Kit), if 
that makes a difference.

Is that issue known? Is there a workaround perhaps?
