I landed a fix in Chromium.
https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=1287066
This is not an Orca bug nor something I can work around in Orca. When
events go completely missing, Orca doesn't have any way of knowing that
anything has changed like where you are in a menu.
Sorry!

I was just checking after updates.
It's still the same.
Orca version is 41.1 (I haven't updated since it's my work station ).
I guess the problem was with Chromium because in the past the menus
were
accessible with same version of Orca.

hello all.
This sounds all strange to me.
I am sure this is not an Orca bug but just making sure.
Since a couple of days, menus in google apps like Sheets and Slides
are
totally inaccessible.
For example if I press alt_shift+ f for fline in sheets, Orca does
not
announce anything when I use up and down arrows.
Orca version is 41.1 and Chromium on Ubuntu 20.04 is 9.7.
Till two days back everything was fine.
I I must mention here that I haven't accessed menus for quite a
long
time and don't know if somehting was broken.
But since last two days when I did start using again, this is
happening
for sure.
Accessibility support is enabled.
