Re: [orca-list] microsoft edge and orca

Microsoft edge and Google Chrome are great browsers if you do not value your privacy. If you value privacy, then stick with Firefox and limit it’s telemetry as well. I would argue a hardened Firefox browser is much safer than edge or chrome.

I am completely fine with my browser being slightly slower in exchange for every move made not being sent to Microsoft or Google. I like the adding that Firefox has, it is open source and because there are so many people using it, then it is quite easy to harden with a configuration profile. A lot of independent security researchers collaborate and share their profiles after they have hardened their browser.

If I were going to use an alternative to Firefox, then it would actually be Brave. That seems to be a good mix of speed, security and privacy.

Hi all.

Just to let you know that I've been using microsoft edge on my arch linux and so far the result is being excellent.

I was impressed that the response time is better than that of FF and chromium, but it must be a wrong impression.

Thanks.
