I couldn't get Firefox to find anything, and I wasn't able to read the local 
file I was trying to read using Chromium or Brave, although most of the time 
this does work, but it seems to be hit or miss between versions for some reason. 
I did get Atril to read my test document, and I also was able to find something 
in the document using the / (slash) key. I typed the slash and it said "find," 
and I entered the word I wanted to find., and my cursor landed right on it. Hope 
this helps.
