Re: [orca-list] Using a different speech synthesizer in app configuration.

Hi,

I think the best is to create several profiles for voices and then set the unbound key to change to another profile. I set mine with Orca+Shift+Arrow-Right.

Hello everyone,
Is it possible to change the speech synthesizer that's used only in a specific application and switch back to
a default synthesizer when the app is closed?
I'd like to use rhVoice as my default speech synthesizer and espeak-ng as the synthesizer in VsCode.
When I select espeak-ng as the synthesizer in VsCode orca preferences by pressing ctrl +insert+space, it
works, but then when switching to the desktop or any other window rhVoice doesn't activate and espeak-ng
starts using the default settings for RHVoice with the different speed and pitch.
However, I can find that in orca preferences for all applications RHVoice is selected but espeak-ng speaks
until I press ok button there.
I thought that this scenario with using different synthesizer in the different app is possible. Or am I doing
something wrong?
Orca 41.1 built from master, speech-dispacher 0.11.0 rc 4 built from master, ubuntu mate 21.10.
Thanks for any help.

Best regards,
