Re: [orca-list] Ubuntu: having items on the desktop?

Anyone know the name of this extension and how to set it up with orca and default ubuntu.

I know one can perform a search but I do like the familiarity of desktop icons as well.

I think there's a GNOME extension for it, but I haven't needed to look for it. I simply type the first
several characters of the application's name as a search term, and the GNOME desktop search finds it
immediately.

Hi all

Using latest default ubuntu LTS, is it at all possible to configure to have items on the desktop? Instead
of having to use the dash all the time.
