geruda linux is available too and a linux for everyone challenge is on for
people to try geruda linux for a month and let linux for everyone and
geruda channels know your findings. Fedora is a possibility just leave
the rawhide flavor alone.

Or, you could install ubuntu Mate 20.04, then, upgrade to 20.10. Super user works in 20.04, which is a
very-good release. Once you've done the upgrade, I can't promise that gui apps that need superuser will be
accessible, so, you may have to do your admin-type stuff in the terminal. Have you considered other
distributions, such as Debian, Linuxmint Mate, or Slint? Maybe Arch?
Cheers,
Dave

No, in Ubuntu Mate, you have to press TAB once for try. It's a lost cause
anyways because Orca doesn't read any of the screens that require
administrator access. At least on the live image. I might have to install
Ubuntu, then the mate desktop.

SF,
When you first boot, pressing enter is the default option, which is "try
Ubuntu".

Unfortunately, nothing seems to work on that screen. ALT+T/ALT+I seems to do
nothing. If it helps, the title of the window is "install as superuser".

review mode in orca may help. Also try alt-i when you get on that screen
and see if install starts. The alt-t should start the try ubuntu option.

Hi,
I am trying to install Ubuntu 20.10 duel boot with Windows 10. After
booting
from the USB media, I am presented with the try or install screen.
Unfortunately, it is not accessible with Orca. Pressing TAB once, then
ENTER
results in pressing the try button. When loading the installer on the
desktop, it is also not accessible with Orca. What do I need to do for
Orca
to read these screens?
