I was wondering about password protection a bit. It's certainly
something to consider. As for bitwarden, If you self host it, Do the
licensing restrictions about business use still apply?

Hello,
hope zou're using a master password for Firefox in that case, because
otherwise the protection of the stored passwords is not something much
to talk about. Personally, we're using Bitwarden with some friends,
we're hosting our bitwarden_rs instance on a Turris router and it's
working just fine, including all the features you would have to pay
for otherwise.

Probably not the kind of answer you were searching for, but I just use
the password manager built into Firefox.
