[orca-list] Orca and MathML

Hi there,
I have done some research on this topic, but I didn't find anything
useful, so I would like to ask here.
What is the current state of relationship between Orca and MathML? I
noticed, that orca speaks math expressions correctly, when crossing
them, special structures were even translated to slovak, what I saw for
first time in a screenreader. :)
But I didnt find a way to navigate them like a tree, as you can do with
Jaws for example or Nvda with its access8math plugin.
I tried switching to focus mode, but that didn't work, as well as
trying to activate the expression with space or return key.

So, I wonder, is this not implemented yet, or am I just doing something
wrong?

If it is the first case, is the plugin system flexible enough to make
it as an addon, or is it needed to integrate it in Orca directly?
I was thinking about porting Nvda's access8math plugin. It works very
well, much better than Jaws' MathServer, it is made in Python, so there
would be no need to twist the core more than necessary and it's open-
source.
It wouldn't be as simple as copy / paste of course, Nvda uses WX while
Orca uses GTK I guess, but I can deal with that as well as with
integration with screenreader.
So the only question is, whether plugin system can handle this or not.

Best regards

Rastislav
