[orca-list] Comments on Orca 3.37.3pre

Hello Everyone,

Yesterday, June 17, we compiled Orca from Master. I see some improvements, but this version is also more
sluggish than the one I was using previously.
I notice this in the websites I use most frequently. My system is Debian Bullseye.
I have Mate and use Firefox.
I use Braille only, since I am deaf-blind. My display is a Focus 40.
The regression is most noticeable when I press the down arrow key. There is a pause before the next line
appears.
When I am looking at the headlines on the Catholic News Agency, and at a heading, pressing the down arrow
causes the heading to be repeated.
When I look at the Mass readings on the Universalist site and press Control+F first escape the cursor lands
on the line before the first reading

I have to press up arrow to get to the separator line, then down arrow to get to the first reading.
When I get to the Responsorial Psalm I have to manuever with the up and down arrows and the back button to
see which psalm it is.

On my Twitter acount Orca is sluggish in responding to the down arrow, and it may not show the entire line.

I don't want to leave the impression that I am complaining. I like the fact that the cursor now follows
typing in Terminal.
Unfortunately I don't know the version of Orca I was using with Debian Buster.
I think that giving an honest evaluation will help in development.

Thanks,
John
