[orca-list] Change made to flat review copy/append

Hey all.

Based on Vojta's complaint and suggestion below, I've just made a change to Orca master to do the following:

1. Strip final newline chars when using flat review copy to clipboard
2. Strip final newline chars when using flat review append to clipboard
3. Change the separator string when you append from newline to space

The impact of item 3 is that if you copy a bunch of lines, one line at a time, you will no longer have a bunch of lines of text in the clipboard; you'll have (functionally) a single paragraph of text. That might be fine or it might not. And since I don't know which it is, it would be great for active users of this flat review feature to give master a spin and tell me if I'm an angel or a devil for my actions. <grins>

Based on feedback, I can tweak/customize as needed. Thanks!

Hi,

I am running Arch Linux, Orca master, Mate terminal.

From time to time, I need to copy a whole line from the terminal, or sometimes just the last word of the line. In this case, I use flat review to find the object and then a shortcut to copy or append it to the clipboard. It works but...

The new line at the end is also copied. That means that for example if I copy a line containing some command and I want to paste it into the terminal, the command gets automatically executed.

Would it be possible to strip the new line from the end of the copied content?

Thank you,

Vojta
