| Hello All, I’m currently experiencing some issues with sound under Ubuntu Mate 19.04 and Ubuntu Mate 19.10. In both cases, after starting Orca after reboot, sound coming from my system takes on a crackly quality. Playing an audio file after a reboot but before Orca is launched does not exhibit the crackly sound quality. I’ve tried Googling the issue with no luck. Ubuntu Mate 19.04 is instilled on an aluminum unibody Macbook (2008). Ubuntu Mate 19.10 is running on a white Macbook (2007).
