Re: [orca-list] Programming in Python in Braille

aI would like to publicly congratulate you. That you want to help Orca
developer. If you know computer Braille alphabet good, you have very big
chance, that you will be able to program in Python. Tab character is very
important while programming in Python. So take care about this symbol is
very important.

But Orca is very big app, structured. Deeply analyse its whole source code
and all relation ships between used libraryes will not be easy task. The
most sad fact is, that when visually impaired developer would want to help
screen reader development this developer need to have other stable screen
reader to valuably participate.
But to give yo some positive advices.
You can participate on Orca development by helping debugging some Orca
testing functions. You can produce logs and you can cooperate with MRS
Joanie on such tasks.

You can also write Orca Python addons, which extends Orca functionality. For
example, you can also write Orca scripts to make some specific application
usable with Orca. Such as. Various GTK3 apps which are not always accessible
in some situations.
You have many possibilityes. And everything depend on yours skils and on
yours patience and time, which you would like to invest for Orca development
activityes.
Very well done. And I wish you many successes.
