Re: [orca-list] orca and zoom

Hi to you,
one can also use the Web interface of Zoom, there the muting=20

But the keyboard shortcut does work alt-a. Keyboard shortcuts are at

Hey Nolan.

That list appears to not be focusable / keyboard navigable. But Orca's=20
flat review seems to work on it.

Is Zoom not an Electron app? I guess not--I just omitted=20

In any case, how do I navigate my list of upcoming meetings? I have=20
one in a couple hours, but it doesn't appear anywhere in my upcoming=20
meetings tab. Would love to ditch this Windows VM for that purpose if=20
I can.

I've only been using zoom on linux for a couple of weeks but have
found the accessibility at least passable. I can join a meeting, I can
start a meeting, I can change settings and the keyboard shortcuts are
by-and-large usable. Nothing like as accessible as my IOS version but
way more productive for sharing with students etc. I've been running
tutorials that way since we were locked out of campus. Remote desktop
sharing has also been a good way of getting sighted assistance on the
various inaccessible web-sites I have to use. All in all a pleasant
surprise if far from perfect.

I wouldn't bother. I've run a regular Zoom meeting for a while now.=20

I assume Orca and/or Electron aren't sophisticated enough yet. Was=3D2=

On another bright side, a Jitsi accessibility-related PR was=20

improvements are also supposed to be right around the corner.

Hi.? I just tried orca and zoom and was having problems.? Orca=20
master,
version 2.35 of the at-spi kit and seems gnome 3.34 under gentoo.
When I get to the sign up dialog, I can get into the email box, but
when I try to type, I get no speech and just a couple of letters in
Braille.

Any thoughts?
