Hi Majid.
We're getting closer, but that's still not especially concrete. Your
step 1 is fine, but you're step 2 is "navigate around the site".
I can navigate with the arrow keys. I can navigate with the structural
navigation keys. I can navigate with the Tab key. There are four arrow
keys. There are quite a few structural navigation keys. Should I press
Down Arrow? If so, how many times? Are there places on the page where
Orca is not sluggish? Are there places on the page where Orca is
extremely sluggish?
As you will see in my step 2 below, I mentioned a specific key (it was
admittedly the "foo" key; you should be specific, like "down" or "h" or
"tab"). In my step 3, I had an example where I specified some text on
the page to navigate to. Like navigate to the "BBC Radio bla bla show"
heading. Then press Down Arrow. Stuff like this is what I need. I need
to know *exactly* what steps I need to perform to see the problem.
Because I am already using Orca master and Firefox Nightly and Orca is
now slowing to a crawl.
Sorry!

hi there,
stepps to reproduce this issue,
1.
go to radiotoday.co.uk in firefox-nightly
2.
navigate around the site
what happens least on my sistem,
the website slows orca to a crawl, it makes orca less responcive.
what should happen?
orca should perform as well as it does on say the bbc website.
thanks,
Majid Hussain

Hi Majid (and others).
What is helpful in terms of reporting bugs is concrete steps to
reproduce the issue. For instance,
1. Load <url>
2. Press the foo key 57 times
3. Down arrow until you get to "bla bla bla"
4. Press Tab once to give focus to the "hello world" link
Expected results: Orca would say "hello world link" immediately
Actual results: Orca says nothing for 10 minutes and then says "goodbye
link"
The reason I say this is that debug.out files have a good aspect (super
detailed) and a bad aspect (super detailed). *smiles* When I can
reproduce a bug locally, it's often easier for me to debug it using my
own debug.out file. When I cannot reproduce a bug locally, I can at
least search within your debug.out file for those concrete steps. Giant
files with nothing to go on is not as easy.
So since I didn't know the steps to reproduce, I just tried various
navigation and reading commands on the page you mentioned. Not seeing
any problems. Therefore, please provide concrete steps to reproduce the
problem.
Thanks!

hi there,
when i go to radiotoday.co.uk,
orca becomes really laggy,
and takes some times to respond.
good news, i've got a debug.out attached, bad news, I hope i'm not
wasteing your time with this, or i really would feel like a heal.
the dbug.out is compressed via the tar.gz format decompressed it's
around 2mb or so :)
sorry if i'm being a pain,
when i mean unresponcive for a time orca seembs very sluggish when on
radiotoday.co.,.uk.
on the bbc site for example orca works great no laggyness this site
however, sigh.
I hope it's not a fools errand,
if it is, I do say sorry.
running orca very very latest tested in firefox-nightly.
fresh profile,
this is reproducible via orca stable.
